Ivy Tech Community College, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of School of Nursing Dean for the Anderson Campus in Anderson, Indiana. The Dean serves as principal academic and administrative leader of the School of Nursing working to achieve the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives. The Dean has the responsibility for, planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, curriculum, instruction, program and instructional quality, student academic success and other academic matters.
Ivy Tech Community College was founded in 1963 as Indiana Vocational Technical College. Back then, the College focused primarily on technical and vocational education. In the more than 50 years since, Ivy Tech has gone through enormous changes. Today, the College is Indiana’s only full-fledged community college, and the #1 largest singly-accredited community college in the country. Ivy Tech’s Anderson Campus is located about an hour from the main campus in Indianapolis.
