Seton Hill University, in partnership with the national search firm, Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Founding Director of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Natural and Health Sciences, the Founding Program Director is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and management of the DPT program.  The Director is expected to develop a DPT program that is consistent with the University mission and meets all of the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The Director will be responsible for curriculum development, facility planning, the writing and submission of all program authorization documentation to CAPTE and will ensure that the program meets all of the CAPTE accreditation standards and deadlines.  The Director provides visionary leadership for establishing and maintaining the DPT program, fostering excellence and identifying strategic opportunities for program growth and development.
