North Central College, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, is pleased to announce a search for the founding Program Director of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program to be housed in the College’s School of Education & Health Sciences. The Physician Assistant program will join a growing cadre of excellent graduate programs at the college.

We are looking for an innovative leader with strong program development skills able to assemble a team of dedicated faculty members and build a distinctive and widely respected master’s program that will produce not only skilled practitioners, but also change agents in the field. The Program Director of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies will be responsible for leading the development of the program’s curriculum, including clinical rotations; leading efforts to secure and maintain ARC-PA accreditation; hiring, mentoring, and evaluating faculty members in the program; scheduling and staffing courses; recruiting and mentoring students; developing strong partnerships with local healthcare and similar organizations; and providing overall administrative oversight of the program.
