Methodist University is partnering with Scott Healy & Associates to hire for the position of Director for the Physician Assistant Program

Methodist University, in partnership with the national search firm, Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Director for the Physician Assistant Program. The PA department seeks an experienced director to provide leadership for all aspects of the Master of Medical Science degree in PA studies. This position is a tenure-track, 12-month position and reports directly to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Services (CHSHS). 

Methodist University is a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming community located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The CHSHS at Methodist University prepares students for careers in various health care and human services fields. The University’s Physician Assistant program is a fully accredited, seven-semester graduate program with an enrollment of 40 students each year (aggregate enrollment 120). The program graduated its first cohort of 4 students in 1998 and has since graduated over 650 PA’s. 

Fayetteville is a thriving community located in the Sandhills region of southeastern North Carolina. Raleigh, the state’s capital, is approximately 65 miles north of Fayetteville, and Charlotte, a major commercial center, is about 200 miles to the west of the city. One of Fayetteville’s greatest assets is its thriving downtown area and the vibrant arts and cultural community. From theatres to museums for adults and children, there is something available downtown for everyone.
