Scott Healy & Associates congratulates Dr. Anne Hedger, DNP, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, CPNP-AC, ENP-BC for being appointed as a new faculty member and Track Coordinator of the AGACNP program at Pennsylvania College of the Health SciencesDr Hedger received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Sinclair College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University, Masters in Nursing from University of Washington, Seattle where she earned and subsequently became boarded as an Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner and an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  She received a Post Master’s Certification as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Seton Hall University.  In 2009, she completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Washington.  Dr. Hedger has over 20 years in nursing distance education, serving as a curriculum consultant, subject matter expert, faculty, Associate Dean of Distance Education, Associate Professor, and Program Director in both an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner track and an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track. 

She has over 20 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an Emergency Department (ED) setting and maintains a telemedicine ED NP role in correctional facilities across the country.  She was an ANCC Concept Expert Panel Member for the Emergency Nurse Practitioner certification, and a Founding member of the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.  She served as a consultant to the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia’s Quality Assurance program in Vancouver BC from 2010-2014, doing clinical site visits and quality reviews, as the country developed their Nurse Practitioner licensure process.  She has consulted as an onboarding specialist for an inpatient hospitalist group for a regional medical center, and as an Emergency Medicine Peer Review Consultant for the Veteran’s Administration.
