Keck Graduate Institute (KGI), in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Founding Program Director, Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) Program.  The KGI School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking a Founding Program Director to lead a new Master of Science Program in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS). The program is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2022, and will complement current programs in Pharmacy, Genetic Counseling, Genomic Data Analytics and a planned Occupational Therapy program in 2023. A new allopathic medical school is also in development at KGI.

The Program Director is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and management of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. The Program Director will serve as the Program’s strategic, academic, and operational leader by guiding the faculty in program development, accreditation self-study, curriculum, administration, teaching, research, and service. The Program Director will serve as an advocate for the program within the medical, academic, and local health communities.  In addition to being knowledgeable about the profession, the successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be responsive to personnel issues, and have experience with problem solving.
