Franklin Pierce University, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, is pleased to announce a search for the Founding Program Director of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program at their new Austin, Texas campus.  The Program Director reports directly to the Dean of the College of the Health and Natural Sciences and is the program administrator for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. The Director is responsible for all faculty, staff and students adhering to the Faculty Protocol, all Franklin Pierce policies and procedures and all accrediting Standards.  Under the direction of the Dean, oversee the program's continuing growth and development.  This 12-month full-time position will be responsible for the development of the PA program and successful acquisition of PA accreditation status. Teaching, scholarship responsibilities and service responsibilities will comprise the remainder of the position duties. The Program Director will receive sufficient release time and financial resources to support maintenance of certification and licensure and continuing professional development specific to PA education.
