Des Moines University, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Department Chair and Program Director – Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial and visionary academic leader to build and launch the first PsyD program in the state of Iowa while helping address significant and growing behavioral health workforce shortages across the region. As a founding leader within DMU’s College of Health Sciences, the Chair/Program Director will have the unique ability to shape the academic identity, culture, curriculum and long-term trajectory of a high-impact doctoral program from the ground up.
