Dr. Sandy Jones serves as Assistant Vice President with the company, focusing on higher education consulting and leading national searches. She has over 17 years of higher education leadership experience at large public and private research universities, most recently serving as Dean of Students at The University of Colorado-Boulder where she was responsible for student organizations, Greek life, student government advisement, case management, student conduct and conflict resolution, volunteer center, and career services.
Sandy started her career in 2003 at the University of Southern California overseeing student government and student life on campus. The University of California-Irvine recruited her as Director of Campus Organizations in 2006, and later jointly appointed her Executive Director in the auxiliary services area, where she made several major enhancements in student government advisement practices, free fee policies, speech issue management, and major campus event strategy. In 2015, Sandy transitioned to a director role in community and government relations at the university where she launched a major community engagement effort, earning the campus several awards including Non-Profit of the Year, a Golden Hub of Innovation Award, and two CASE Awards of Excellence for community engagement. Sandy was also honored as "Top 40 under 40 to Watch" in 2012 by OC Metro magazine.
Sandy earned a B.A. in Political Science, graduating magna cum laude from the honors program at the University of California-Los Angeles, a M.Ed. from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration & Policy from UC Riverside, where she was honored as a Chancellor's Distinguished Fellow.
