Position Description

Keystone College, in partnership with the search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management. This newly structured position reports directly to the President of the College. The Vice President serves as a member of the President’s cabinet and participates in institution-wide strategic planning and policy development. The Vice President will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the College’s strategic enrollment initiatives and outcomes while providing vision and leadership to the College in all areas of enrollment management.

The Vice President will oversee the Offices of Undergraduate, Graduate, and International Admissions, Marketing, Enrollment Processing and Operations, and Student Financial Aid. In addition, the VPEM will provide leadership oversight for the Department of Athletics.  Moreover, she/he will provide leadership in designing the College’s enrollment strategies and is expected to make sophisticated use of high-quality data-driven, evidence-based enrollment decisions, while utilizing best practices in enrollment management. This is accomplished while inspiring others throughout campus to work and serve collaboratively in achieving enrollment goals and improving retention and graduation rates. The Vice President must be innovative and adept at promoting current academic and student-centered programs, as well as bringing forth recommendations for new recruitment ideas, marketing, financial aid leveraging, retention, tuition net revenue strategies, and academic programs that match the College’s mission, resources, and market demand.


To be considered for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management, the ideal candidate should have the following:

  • 7-10 years of experience in enrollment management within higher education;
  • Master’s Degree;
  • Considerable experience in data-driven enrollment operations that result in sustained growth in enrollment, diversity, academic quality, and increased retention and graduation rates;
  • Experience providing financial aid leveraging and discounting initiatives in support of attracting, enrolling, and enhancing student persistence through to graduation;
  • Experience implementing and improving a comprehensive enrollment plan;
  • Ability to work with faculty, alumni, currently enrolled students, the administration, and other partners in bringing together a College-wide enrollment management structure and environment.
  • Experience developing a CRM that is proactive and effective in establishing communication to all constituents;
  • Experience creating, executing, assessing, and evaluating an integrated strategic enrollment plan for the College that is based upon sound data-informed decisions and facilitating seamless transitions and high quality customer service throughout all enrollment management and marketing/communication operations;
  • Experience working closely with the Director of Athletics and coaches in setting enrollment targets for all sports teams;
  • An established leadership style that promotes shared decision-making, academic excellence, creativity, and innovation while providing a calm presence and a flexible approach to solving all enrollment challenges; and
  • Experience creating a work environment committed to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
