About Scott Healy & Associates: The leading firm for comprehensive enrollment management services for the higher education community.
Scott Healy & Associates was formed in 1998 after Dr. Scott Healy spent over 30 years in leadership enrollment management positions at nine (9) colleges and universities. This background provided him with the knowledge to understand that all institutions can benefit from professional assistance in enrollment management whether they are challenged to meet their enrollment targets or even if they are reaching their goals without difficulty. As a primary objective, all institutions of higher education have a goal of wanting to plan and execute a means for staying ahead of their peer institutions. Having a fresh pair of experienced eyes looking at what other institutions are doing to ensure enrollment stability is an invaluable resource for assistance in all aspects and phases of enrollment management. With three decades of experience in admissions, enrollment management, financial aid, registration, and student affairs, Scott set out to work with those institutions that could benefit from the value-added experience, knowledge, and insight he and his Associates can provide colleges and universities.
Conducting National Searches: Over the past 13 years, Scott Healy & Associates has conducted more than ninety (90) national searches in the areas of admissions, financial aid, enrollment management, registrar, and student affairs. Of those searches, thirty-five (35) institutions contacted Scott Healy and Associates to conduct a search after the institutional search failed to bring about a positive search outcome. For all thirty-five institutions, Scott Healy and Associates was able to bring about a successful search completion.
Placing Interim Professionals: Another core service Scott Healy and Associates provides is to place experienced and successful enrollment professionals at institutions where there is a vacancy in a leadership position within the enrollment operation. Vacancies come about at inopportune times because of sickness, maternity leave, dismissals, other job opportunities, and death. Scott Healy and Associates will place an Interim Director/Dean of Admissions, Vice President for Enrollment management, Registrar, and/or Vice President for Student Affairs from three (3) to twelve (12) months. Scott has partnered with some of the most experienced and successful enrollment professionals (See Associates) in all the areas of enrollment management.
Institutional Enrollment Audits: Scott Healy and Associates provides senior management with comprehensive assessment and evaluation services of their current operations for enrollment management functions including admissions, registrar, enrollment management, and student affairs. Such audits and assessments are based on best practices principles within the profession. Scott Healy and Associates has extensive knowledge and resources for assisting the higher education community with these comprehensive evaluations by using and deploying our team of Associates. All of our Associates have industry-leading skill sets.
Financial Aid Leveraging: One of the most important services provided by SH & A for higher education today is financial aid leveraging initiatives. Institutions are looking to accomplish through leveraging initiatives increased new student enrollment, decreased discount rate, increased retention and graduation rates, an increase in the academic profile of the entering class, and an increase in underrepresented student populations.
