Ron Nordone brings to Scott Healy and Associates 20 years of success in enrollment management, with extensive experience in the areas of graduate and health science recruitment and admissions. Most recently, Ron served for over seven years at Drexel University, where he was promoted through the ranks from Director of Graduate Admissions to Assistant Vice President for Recruitment. In his time at Drexel, Ron played a key role in bringing MCPHahnemann University out of bankruptcy by significantly increasing enrollments, leading to the University’s eventual merger with Drexel. Ron also designed and launched the recruitment plan for Drexel University’s new College of Law, resulting in 180 new students in a first year effort.
In total, Ron has over nine years of experience at the Director’s level, also having served as the Director of Admissions at Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Health Professions in Philadelphia. He has worked in freshman and transfer admissions at Rider University and La Salle University.
Ron is an accomplished author and speaker. His paper, Cost Effective Analysis of New Markets: First Steps of Enrollment Management for Nursing and Allied Health Programs, was presented at the Association of Institutional Research Annual Conference in 1997. Ron also presented Health Care 2000, How to Get There, What to Expect throughout the tri-state area.
Additional areas of expertise include transfer admissions, staff reorganization, and enrollment research. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Salle University and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University.
