George Lynes recently completed a 35-year career
in college and university admissions during which he served
as a Dean/Director at two and four-year institutions: an engineering
school, a women’s college and a large, multi-campus university.
His responsibilities encompassed undergraduate and graduate
student recruitment, marketing, admissions, financial aid, and
enrollment management. George’s expertise comprises the
analysis and enhancement of admissions counseling programs;
hiring, training and staff development; professional ethics,
and the organization of comprehensive enrollment services programs.
With extensive experience as a seminar and workshop
leader, George has been elected to several key positions in
national, regional and state professional associations, including
NACAC, NJACAC, NYSACAC, NJ-NYACRAO and MSACROA. He has received
numerous awards for service to these organizations and for his
contributions to the college admissions counseling profession.
George Lynes brings to Scott Healy & Associates
many years of successful admissions and enrollment management
experience. He is available for interim assignments as a Dean/Director
of Admissions or as a Vice President for Enrollment Management.
George lives in New York City.
